Can You Tell A Story In…

Thursday means new story challenge time. So can you tell a story in 41 words using the following words in it somewhere:

  • WARLOCK
  • LANYARD
  • ROCKET
  • CROCHET

The previous challenge was to write a story in 64 words using the following six words in it somewhere:

  • NURSE
  • TABASCO
  • INVISIBLE
  • SPIDER
  • WINDMILL
  • MOUSTACHE

The next morning was room service for breakfast after a long night of catching up.

“Tom, do you still put Tabasco sauce on everything?”

He grinned with sauce in his moustache, “Give me a kiss and find out. Remember your dream job becoming a nurse?”

Why did she run and become invisible? She floated place to place like spiders’ gossamer blown by a windmill.“Unless you’re a warlock and rocket me back in time.  A struggling single mom, I was a CNA at a nursing home. A sweet elderly woman taught me to crochet. I still have my ID lanyard and met my husband there.”
