Oops! I Did It Again This Lent.
I always start with such determination to study, read, reflect, and WRITE every day of Lent then share with my blog. I have not been able to make 40 consecutive Lent blogs. I am struggling with chaos in my life this Lent, heck this year. There are a lot of new normals and pieces of this life puzzle to place together so we can survive, literally and without collateral damage to my children.
Chaos caused by me. It is me. If I am not doing, I think I am dying. I have happily filled my calendar:
Sunday is church and rest visiting my son.
Monday rest, read, reflect, and write while directing meals for the week being assembled and frozen for the week.
Tuesday is Hospice at 10 am and Bunco 12-3 pm on the last Tuesday of the month.
Wednesday 11-2 pm is lunch and Bible study at the Refuge.
Thursday 9:30-10:30 am is CBS Zoom Bible study. Book club begins again this April on the second Thursday of the month 12-2 pm. The third Thursday night at 5:30-6:30 pm Matthew 25:40, Inc Board Meeting by Zoom.
Friday is Hospice 10 am and lunch with Abbey and Damian. Then Fridays with grandson Jay and family until 10 pm except for the third Friday night 6-8 pm Bridge Bunco.
Saturday Mass in Dyersburg 5 pm.
Start all over again.
OH, MY GOODNESS! No wonder I fell behind. I didn’t even get to the witching newborn hours we have had with Damian for the last few weeks from 4-3 am. For the last half of Lent I am going to keep my promises to share and blog. Please pray for us to tune out the world and turn into God. Find those God pods and Googles!
